For the first time in the history of war, common people have found themselves in the condition to document through video-camera what was happening around them. Home video-cameras, instead of recording children birthday parties, served to shield the town – Sarajevo. All these "cuts" – recorded by common people from their own flats, refuges, periphery, in every part of the city – have been gathered in a single movie concerning daily life of a city under siege, in Europe, at the end of the Twentieth century.
